72EXJ056 3/8 pitch .050 gauge 56 drive link Full skip Full Chisel
The 72EXJ056 is the current replacement for the Oregon® part 72EXJ056G, featuring a 3/8 pitch, .050 gauge, and 56 drive links. Its full skip and full chisel design, along with a Skiptooth pattern and round ground X-grind cutter teeth, ensure superior performance. With a pitch of 3/8 (.375) and a gauge of .050 (1.3mm), it has 56 drive links, making it ideal for use with 56DL 15" cutting length bars. The Pro yellow label 72EXJ saw chain loop, now available in a red box, boasts an X-grind Power Cut design. The Full Skip sequence design allows for better chip flow due to increased clearance between cutter teeth, making it crucial to cut larger wood with longer bars and maintain high engine RPMs.
The Oregon® 72EXJ provides improved cutting speed and less chain stretch with its new grooves in the drive links and superior cutting performance thanks to its reshaped cutter and proprietary grind technology. The LubriTec feature also ensures less friction and a longer chain and guides bar life, while Blued Cutters offers corrosion protection. For accurate sharpening, utilize the stamped Top-Plate Filing Indicators and Gold-colored tie strap Start Indicator, all conveniently marked for easy use. With exclusive OCS-01 Steel, durability is guaranteed.
